Tony’s retirement tips

Tony Rossiter is a long time member of Writers’ News and so far the author of two books, the most recent of which has just been released by publishers The Greatest in the World.

The Greatest Retirement Tips in the World
(The Greatest in the World, £6.99), is a small book filled with practical tips for those who are finishing work.
It offers advice on how to budget, how to spend your time, how to stay healthy and how to boost your income.

Tony is technically retired from his career as a civil servant but still finds himself jetting around the country for management training seminars. He also busies himself with writing and has written several articles for several publications. Tony’s first book was a humorous and anecdotal title called Only A Bloody Game: A Light-hearted Look at Village Cricket.

Tony then noticed a piece in Writers’ News about The Greatest in the World and decided to send them a query letter with a few ideas for books. To his surprise a response came the next day saying that they wanted to go ahead with his idea for a book on retirement.

Tony is now working on another idea from that initial query; a book of tips on successful management. He is greatly enjoying the experience. ‘In a perfect world I would like to spend a third of my time writing’. says Tony.

Tony’s retirement recommendations include having at least one serious hobby to pass the time; his is undoubtedly writing.
