YOUR WRITERS' NEWS COURSE
A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE |
|
Enrol • When you enrol, you will be sent everything you
need to begin your studies: your course book, tutor query sheets,
a student profile and your free gift Write Right.
Send personal profile and get matched
to tutor • You begin
your course whenever you are ready, by posting or e-mailing your student
profile. This is where you tell us a little about yourself, why you
like writing and what you hope to gain from the course. This information
allows our head of tutors to match you to the most suitable tutor
from our panel.
Work on and submit your first assignment • Our head of tutors will write to
you with details of your tutor and you are then free to submit your
first assignment. Whether you submit your assignments by post or e-mail,
you will receive a full and comprehensive critique of your work and
your tutor will also go through your work in detail, making suggestions
or corrections where appropriate.
Tutor sets personal assignments • For most of our
specialist courses (except poetry writing), your tutor will set your
assignments for you personally once you have completed the first two
pieces of work. This allows the course to be tailored to suit your
own needs and interests.
Continual assistance from our Home
Study Coordinator
• Our home study coordinator is available to assist with queries,
via post, telephone or e-mail. You are also able to contact your
tutor by e-mail, or using one of the tutor query sheets supplied
with your course.
Complete and receive certificate
• Once you have completed your course, you will receive a
Writers' News certificate. Many of our students choose
to extend their course by enrolling for further assignments with
the same tutor.
Receive loyalty discounts on further
courses
• On completion of your course, we offer a generous loyalty
discount to students who take a second or subsequent course after
completing their original course.
